According to Spanish sports daily Marca, Cesc Fabregas is likely to leave Arsenal at the end of this season, with Barcelona the favorite to sign the midfielder for at least 50 million euros (US$74 million).
The Spain international has "practically decided to leave" the London club in the summer, the paper reports. Arsenal coach Arsene Wenger will not block Fabregas' departure if a bidder pays "no less than" the asking price.
Barcelona is cited as having the best chance of signing the Catalan due to his boyhood links with the European champion.
However, Real Madrid is also considering making an offer for Fabregas with a view to pairing him in midfield with Xabi Alonso.
